For years Christmas was a struggle for Trent. The people, the chaos, the noise, the anticipation and excitement of presents was just too much for him to handle. So Trent hid out in his grandparents room and every 20 minutes or so his mom and I would bring him a present, watch him open it and then give him time to enjoy it before the next one was brought it.

We're thankful that now Trent stays with the family in the midst of the chaos and really seems to enjoy Christmas. He gets so excited to see what's under the paper and inside the box. He especially likes it when there's more than one thing to discover inside present.
